Configure automatic column widths, header wrapping, and margins.

Parameters:

auto_widthbool, default True

Whether to measure visible text and adjust column widths.

auto_wrap_headersbool, default True

Whether to wrap headers automatically at word boundaries.

column_padding_ptfloat, default 6

Left and right cell padding in points.

edge_padding_ptfloat, default 4

Left and right figure-edge padding in points.

max_header_linesint, default 3

Maximum line count for one header.

max_figure_widthfloat, default 16

Maximum automatically expanded Figure width in inches.

header_padding_ptfloat, default 4

Minimum top and bottom padding for column-header text and each header legend, in points. Must be finite and nonnegative. Header height always adapts to the rendered content, including explicit newlines, even when automatic widths or wrapping are disabled. Extra header space increases Figure height without compressing the body rows.
